Touchdown Brewery Tours

This is the Touchdown Brewery Tour Blog. As I visit breweries, I will post comments and photos detailing my experience. I lean towards Hoppy beers, but love all beer (American Premium Lagers are not beer) and will try to give actual comments rather then just a numeric scale. An ideal brewery is one where I feel comforatble in a jersey and jeans, from this sweet spot all establishments will be reviewed. I hope you enjoy - Jeff

Bhagwans Best IPA, 9 beers in and finally a hint of shiver. This beer has hops throughout the experience. The nose warns of the coming bitter, and the mouth and finish do not disappoint.
Scarlet Fire IPA - Golden almost copper color. Nice hops presence, but not a slap you in the face hop. No Hop Shiver here. This would be an ideal Man-Beer that goes with sports, steak, more beer. While not intimidating, this is not a beer for girly-men afraid of flavor and hops.
Hopgoblin Pumpkin - nutmeg, cumin heck it is not a pumpkin beer, it is just a ale with Pumpkin Pie Spice from King Soopers (Kroger for those outside of Denver). Not a bad beer, but it is more a P-Pie flavor then a Pumpkin beer. Taking out the rant, this is a decent beer, the spice is big in the nose, but the beer finishes cleanly, well balanced. This is probably an excellent British mild without the spices. OOPS, according to the bartender there is actually pumpkin in this (canned).
Big Time Brewery.
